Jehan Perera
Mr Jehan Perera was instrumental in initiating ACT Foundation’s first community kitchen in Sri Lanka during the economic crisis in 2022. As a critical management team member, Jehan provides ground support and strategic advice to ACT Foundation’s activities in Sri Lanka. He is also a board member of ACT Foundation Sri Lanka.
Jehan is an accomplished management professional with over 14 years of experience managing Non-Governmental (NGO) sector programs in Sri Lanka. He has taken full responsibility for these NGO programs and covered all aspects, including program development, leadership, finance, compliance, external representation, monitoring, and evaluation. These programs focused on democracy, governance, emergency response, shelter, WaSH, and livelihoods.
Jehan holds an MBA from CQ University, Australia. He is the Program Manager at the Washington-based International Republican Institute (IRI) in Sri Lanka.
Jehan lives in Sri Lanka with his beautiful family. He is fluent in English, Tamil, and Sinhala.
