Dr Arun Vathavooran was instrumental in establishing the ACT Foundation in Sri Lanka. He supervises the day-to-day project activities of ACT in Sri Lanka and enjoys taking part in hands-on service activities whenever possible. He is also a board member and chairperson of ACT Foundation Sri Lanka.
Mr Jay Jeyaseelan was pivotal in establishing the ACT Foundation in Sri Lanka. He is working closely with the team to bring tangible changes for the needy and underprivileged people in Sri Lanka. He also serves as a board member of ACT Foundation Sri Lanka.
Mr Arun Aarooren joined the ACT Foundation’s team in January 2023 and supports the day-to-day operations. He was instrumental in setting up a system for managing the Foundation’s financial activities and progressively managing it. He also manages the IT systems, including the website, and is a board member of ACT Foundation Sri Lanka.
Mr Jehan Perera was instrumental in initiating ACT Foundation’s first community kitchen in Sri Lanka during the economic crisis in 2022. As a critical management team member, Jehan provides ground support and strategic advice to ACT Foundation’s activities in Sri Lanka. He is also a board member of ACT Foundation Sri Lanka.
Mohanji ACT Foundation is registered in Sri Lanka under section 34 of the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007 with the registration number GA00270213. We operate a low-overhead charity model supported by voluntary services and strictly follow required financial accountability methods to ensure funds donated are utilised for the intended purpose only.
