Our Strategy

WE FOLLOW STRICT COMPLIANCE

Volunteering Excellence

We have adopted a low-overhead cost charity model by encouraging voluntary services to run the ACT Foundation in Sri Lanka, giving a strong definition of charity.

Our community-based projects are need-based and led by our incredible volunteers. They are the lifeblood of our organisation and work with communities to dive deep into what support they need.

We invest our time and energy into areas where help is needed most, focusing on four critical areas of support such as alleviating hunger, environmental action, poverty and alleviating isolation and loneliness.

Statutory Compliance

We value the law as the prime guiding tool for our day-to-day operations of ACT Foundation in Sri Lanka and adopt all reasonable measures to ensure compliance in all our activities.

Our legal experts support the ACT Foundation in ensuring that our legal strategies result in tangible value creation that can be accounted for in financial statements.  r value.

By engaging legal experts and state actors in our strategic decisions,  we ensure that Sri Lanka’s legal framework is utilised as an essential aspect of long-term strategic planning.

Service Growth

The family-like heart-to-heart bonding between each member of the ACT team, love expressed in action, and a deeper understanding of the importance of selfless service are the secrets behind the growth of the ACT Foundation.

These have made ACT what it is today in Sri Lanka as a volunteer-led movement caring for all life on earth and transcending all man-made barriers of race, class, gender, religion, politics, and species.

As the growth continues over the country, ACT Foundation’s causes and projects in Sri Lanka are wide and varied, encompassing small initiatives led by an individual or small group to larger projects carried out in partnership with other organisations.

ACT Foundation's Alignment to the Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations
